Me at T27
What I love most about being the Health, Wellbeing and Ethics Lead at Talent 27 is getting to work closely with people & having a positive impact on their day to day experience at work. It's really rewarding to support colleagues with their wellbeing, & help build a culture where everyone feels valued, included and supported. I enjoy encouraging open and honest conversations, helping people feel comfortable bringing their whole selves to work, and making sure our values and ethical standards are reflected in what we do every day. Seeing people grow, feel happier at work, & knowing I've played a small part in that is what makes the role so fulfilling.
Favourite thing about T27
Definitely the people. Everyone is supportive, friendly, & genuinely enjoyable to be around, which makes coming to work a pleasure. There's a real sense of teamwork, plenty of laughs along the way, & a fun, positive atmosphere that makes even the busiest days enjoyable.

Me at T27:
Head of Talent Acquisition & Brand ambassador.
Favourite thing about T27:
Undoubtedly the people & the environment that’s been created. We hire so carefully so that the people we bring in to join us align with the culture of the company and direction it wants to go in. I’m proud to be a part of that and seeing people’s success along the way from the very beginning.
Goals for 2026/2027:
Continue to bring in high potential new starters to our team and industry along with attracting more experienced consultants to Talent 27 who want a culture & team that is aimed at bringing out the best in them.
Interesting fact:
I’ve been with the company nearly 6 years now since it first began & have seen the growth from 3 people being sat in an office in Newquay to what it is now. Excited to see where it continues to grow and go and I hope to play a part in that.

Me at T27
I see my role at T27 as setting the standard when it comes to billing and showing what is possible. After 15 years in recruitment, I still recruit every day, still love competing on the sales boards and still get the same thrill from making a deal. A big part of my role now is using that experience and competitiveness to push the consultants around me to bill more, raise their expectations and become better recruiters.
Favourite thing about T27
The competition. Other than being a professional sportsperson, I think sales is one of the few careers where you can wake up every morning, come into the office and genuinely compete. I love that side of T27 and being surrounded by people who want to win.
Goals for 2026/27 Billing Year
Personally, I want to continue pushing the envelope of what I think is possible. I’ve got a few T27 records in my sights and want to see how far I can push myself. Alongside that, I really want to help the team become the best possible versions of themselves as recruiters, achieve things they perhaps didn’t think were possible and, collectively, make 2026/27 the most successful year in the business’s history.
Interesting Fact
Despite the vicious and completely unfounded rumours that I’m a fussy eater, I will, in fact, eat anything.

After working in recruitment since 2009, I’d say one of the biggest challenges is staying motivated & positive when everything seems to be going against you, which, let’s face it, happens pretty often in recruitment. At T27, you’ll generally find me walking around being loud, cheering people on & trying to inject as much positivity & energy as I can. Recruitment has ups & downs, so having people around you who keep the energy high makes a difference. I genuinely love what I do & I’m really passionate about the culture at T27. I want people to enjoy coming to work & get as much as possible out of their career. You’ll regularly find me nagging people about saving money, opening an ISA & thinking about their future. My passion for recruitment hasn’t changed since I started. I still enjoy being client facing & building relationships. I like the challenge & competition in & get a lot of satisfaction when we win new business.

I’ve been with Talent 27 for six years, progressing to my current role as Principal Lead. If you see me on the shop floor, I bring plenty of energy & enthusiasm. Recruitment is a challenging but rewarding career, I see my role at T27 being about getting the best out of the team around me, keeping them motivated & leading them to become best versions of themselves.
Over the years, T27 has given me some lifetime memories, New York, Val Thorens & VIP Ushuaia, Ibiza (Throwing Dad shapes). There have been plenty more, but those are some of my highlights.
Some of my favourite moments in the office are when everyone is pushing towards a billing target, the deals are flying in & the whole office is pulling together to try and get the target over the line.

Favourite thing about T27:
The culture & the people. It’s a relaxed & supportive environment where you’re given the tools you need to succeed, while also being trusted to do your job & encouraged to be yourself. I’ve been with T27 since the start, it’s been a rollercoaster to say the least. Hard work & resilience pays off in this job so keeping you’re head high is very important to keep going. Making friends for life along the way & consistently growing is something few companies offer. Although we’re always a hard working bunch, we don’t take ourselves to seriously and allow time for fun too.

Support from other consultants & the directors. Whether it is support/development at work or outside of work in your personal life. T27 is always there to support its staff & this is something that makes the team here amazing!

I’m Emma, and I’ve never been particularly interested in job titles. You can be a CEO from your bedroom or the CEO of Google, the title doesn’t make you a leader. Leadership is what you do, how you make people feel and the opportunities you create for others. It's an action.
After 20 years in recruitment, I’ve watched the industry change enormously, but its greatest opportunity remains the same: hard work can outperform talent. That is why I fell in love with it. Recruitment can completely change your life. If you are willing to learn, remain consistent and back yourself, you can build an incredible career, earn a genuine six-figure income and create a life beyond work that once felt out of reach.
My role at T27 is simple: to make the business and the experience of every person within it better. That means setting a clear direction, removing obstacles and continually looking for ways to help our people succeed. I want everyone here to understand what is possible for them and feel that they are part of building something that matters.
My favourite thing about T27
Watching people build lives they are proud of.
Seeing someone buy their first home, take the holiday they once only dreamed about, provide more for their family or discover a level of confidence they never knew they had, that is what success looks like to me. The numbers matter because they keep the business strong, but the people behind those numbers matter more. Being trusted to play even a small part in someone else’s success story is the greatest privilege of leadership and one I will never take for granted.
My goals for 2026/2027
To continue streamlining and strengthening T27, positioning the group for its next chapter of growth while creating even greater opportunities for our people. I want us to build a business that performs at the highest level without losing the ambition, energy and genuine care that made us successful in the first place. When the business becomes stronger, everyone within it should feel the benefit.
Interesting fact
I once appeared on Britain’s Got Talent.
